Model SSH07

The model SSH07 is ideal for smaller vacuum pumps up to approximately 230x250x400mm (WxHxD) in size such as the Edwards E2M1.5, the Varian DS102, or the Pfeiffer DUO2.5. If oil mist filters or similar accessories are used with the pumps, the pump flanges can be extended to allow the accessories to be operated outside the sound protection hood.

Active Pump Protection System (APPS)

The APPS (Active Pump Protection System) module (Active Pump Protection System) enables you to perfectly protect your sensitive and important devices by monitoring all important operating data.
The system constantly monitors all important operating data such as temperature, current consumption and the function of the fans. In the event of a fault, an optical and acoustic warning is issued. The ventilation is temperature controlled, so that the insulated device is optimally cooled at all times.

Easy pump access
Both the cover and the front can be removed with a flick of the wrist via quick-release fasteners. This makes it easy to check the oil level, operate the gas ballast valve or perform other work on the pump at any time.
Internal pump socket
All sound protection hoods are equipped with an internal socket for connecting the vacuum pump. This means that only one socket or cable is required to supply power to the pump and the sound protection hood. Separate power supply of the pump and the sound protection hood is also possible.
Temperature monitoring with alarm function - models with APPS (Active Pump Protection System)
The exhaust air temperature is continuously monitored. In the event of overheating, a visual and acoustic alarm is triggered.
Temperature-controlled fans - models with APPS (Active Pump Protection System)
The speed of the fans is controlled depending on the required cooling capacity, which contributes to an increased service life as well as optimal noise minimization.
Wide range input - models with  APPS (Active Pump Protection System)
The sound protection hood can be operated on 110V networks as well as on 230V networks.
Emergency shutdown function - models with APPS (Active Pump Protection System)
When a critical internal temperature is reached, it is possible to automatically switch off the internal socket to prevent a defect.

The display can be connected to all Sonation products with APPS module. The display shows at a glance all important data such as temperature, current drawn by the vacuum pump and the function of the fans.
With the APPS module, suitable and retrofittable for all Sonation sound protection hoods, the pump is optimally protected. All important operating data such as temperature, current consumption and the function of the fans are constantly monitored. In the event of a fault, an optical and acoustic warning is issued.
Stainless steel oil tray on wheels for use with the SSH series. Eases the pump service and helps to keep the floor clean.
Oil leakage in vacuum pumps can quickly lead to damage or even total failure of the pump. The oil leak sensor in conjunction with an APPS module constantly monitors whether oil is collecting in the oil tray. If a leak is detected, an alarm is signaled visually and acoustically.
With the Sonation oil change kit, the oil drain plug of the pump is replaced by a convenient drain adapter with ball valve. The complete oil can then be easily drained in one easy step.
Especially with pumps that stand directly on the floor, the pump often had to be lifted for the oil change until now. With the flat oil drain sump, this is no longer necessary. This makes every oil change a clean and simple job.
Often, the air conditioning systems installed in the laboratories are overloaded with the enormous waste heat from the installed equipment and no longer able to keep the room temperature at a low level. The vacuum pumps are responsible for a large part of the heat generated.
With the help of these exhaust air kits, our sound protection hoods can be easily connected to the existing laboratory ventilation system, thus removing the waste heat from the laboratory.
Vacuum pumps are often used together with oil mist filters, T-pieces or similar attachments. In order to continue using these accessories, the flanges of the pumps can be extended so that the accessories can be connected outside the hood.
